The Collegian wins first-place in SCJ National Contest

Ashland University's student-run newspaper, The Collegian, has earned top national recognition, receiving first-place for Social Media Presence Overall Excellence from the Society for Collegiate Journalists. The Society for Collegiate Journalists is the nation's oldest honor society for student media leaders. SCJ hosts one of the most competitive and respected contests in collegiate media. The Journalism and Digital Media department and The Collegian's Faculty Advisor, Kelly Meyer, expresses pride in the staff and their continued work as student media leaders.
