A Blog Converged Update

In the history of the Ashland University Journalism and Digital Media department, there are very few students who have accomplished as much as graduating senior Lauren Gulden. In her four years with JDM, Lauren hosted multiple radio shows and Vinylthon segments for WRDL, served as a News Editor and award-winning reporter for The Collegian, and anchored News Break, Good Afternoon Ashland, AUTV Live, Eagle's Eye and the yearly converged live Election Show for AUTV. This year, she was the Executive Producer for Election 25 and the Executive News Producer for AUTV. Her work on Election 25 received a nomination in the Student News category for the Great Lakes Regional EMMY award (a first for the JDM department). Upon graduation. Digital Media Production major Mike Hopkins,Jr. is an excellent photographer,videographer and editor. He directed television shows for AUTV, hosted radio programs for WRDL and wrote articles and supplied photographs for The Collegian. Mike completed a successful one year internship with the Cleveland Browns between his junior and senior years at AU.
