JDM Senior Interview---Mike Hopkins

Digital Media Production major Mike Hopkins,Jr. is an excellent photographer,videographer and editor. He directed television shows for AUTV, hosted radio programs for WRDL and wrote articles and supplied photographs for The Collegian. Mike completed a successful one year internship with the Cleveland Browns between his junior and senior years at AU. WRDL, JDM Faculty, Staff and Students win 2026 AU Leadership and Service Awards

On Sunday April 19th, Journalism and Digital Media department students, staff, faculty and co-curricular media organizations were honored at the 39th Annual Leadership and Service Awards event. Here are the nominees and winners: WRDL 88.9 was the winner of the Student Organization of the Year Kelly Meyer was the winner of the Emerging Faculty Member of the year Dashia Johnson won the Community and Belonging award JDM nominees were----John Skrada, Derek Wood, Kelly Meyer, Dana Krukovska, Aubrey Wood, Drake Crumley, Taylor Davidson, Chaden Sampson,and Joe Monteith. Both AUTV and The Collegian were nominees for Student Organization of the Year.
