JDM Freshman Eliana Homoelle debuts as anchor for AUTV News Break

First year Digital Media Journalism major Eliana Homoelle has a rich background in public speaking. For the past few years, Eliana has participated in numerous high school speech competitions,including the Christian Communicators of America.In her third week on the Ashland University campus, she steps into the role of Monday anchor for AUTV's News Break program. Here is her first show.

WRDL, JDM Faculty, Staff and Students win 2026 AU Leadership and Service Awards

On Sunday April 19th, Journalism and Digital Media department students, staff, faculty and co-curricular media organizations were honored at the 39th Annual Leadership and Service Awards event. Here are the nominees and winners: WRDL 88.9 was the winner of the Student Organization of the Year Kelly Meyer was the winner of the Emerging Faculty Member of the year Dashia Johnson won the Community and Belonging award JDM nominees were----John Skrada, Derek Wood, Kelly Meyer, Dana Krukovska, Aubrey Wood, Drake Crumley, Taylor Davidson, Chaden Sampson,and Joe Monteith. Both AUTV and The Collegian were nominees for Student Organization of the Year.
